1970’te aydın’da doğdu. orta öğrenim sonrası izmir’de, 1988’de yıldız üniversitesi mimarlık bölümü’nü kazandıktan sonra istanbul’da yaşamaya başladı. 1994’te ilk albümü “serseri mayın” -başta “yerine sevemem” adlı şarkı olmak üzere büyük ilgi topladı. sanatçı 1995’ te "tutunamadım" albümünü yayımladı.1993’deki ilk film müziği çalışması olan “gece, melek ve bizim çocuklar”, kırdar’ın ikinci albümü "tutunamadım" da yer aldı. kırdar, 1995 yılında 9 eylül üniversitesi güzel sanatlar fakültesi müzikoloji bölümü’nü kazandı. 1997 yılında , kendi müzik şirketi loopus’u kurdu. türkiye’nin ilk elektronik müzik albümü ünvanını alan “trip” albümünü, 1997’de loopus entertainment etiketiyle yayımladı.1999’daki marmara depreminden sonra, depremzede çocuklar yararına hasbro intertoy’la ortaklaşa hazırlanan “furby 3doo” projesi, loopus entertainment etiketiyle aynı yıl yayımlandı. bu çalışma, konuşabilen robot bir oyuncakla eşzamanlı üretilen ilk albüm olması açısından etkileyici bir fikir olarak ilgi gördü. 1999 ankara film festivali’nde en iyi kısa film ödülü alan “namaste” adlı filmin müzikleri de, kırdar’ın bu dönemde yaptığı çalışmalar arasında yer aldı. 2000 yılı içerisinde sanatçı, ilk kütüphane çalışması olan “ethnotronix” albümünü hazırladı. müzikotek bu albümü 14 ülkede tanıttı. aynı çalışma 2003 yılı başında albüm olarak da yayımlandı. müziklerini yaptığı “tekfur sarayı ve istanbul” belgeseli, 2002 istanbul belgesel film festivali’nde izleyici özel ödülü’nü aldı. aynı yıl “aliya” belgeselinin müziklerini besteledi. çalışma, belgesel yazarlar birliği yılın belgeseli ödülünü kazandı. 2002 yılı içerisinde, “fırsat/crude” filminin müziklerini besteledi. film başta los angeles film festivali en iyi film ödülü olmak üzere, birçok festivalde ödül kazandı. besteci, filmin müziklerini 2004’de “keyf/pleasure” albümünde bir araya getirdi. albüm 2004 eylül’ünde yunanistan, polonya ve lübnan’da yayımlandı. albümle aynı adı taşıyan “keyf\pleasure” şarkısı, emi tarafından tüm dünyada piyasaya sürülen karma albümde de yer aldı. 2002’den bu yana “kurtlar vadisi” tv dizisinin müziklerini hazırlayan kırdar, 2004’de “kurtlar vadisi” vol.1 ve vol.2 dizi soundtrack albümlerini yayımladı. 2004’de, müzikotek aracılığıyla ingiliz warner-chappel müzik şirketiyle, yeni bir “library works” için anlaşma imzaladı. 2002’den itibaren film müziği ve televizyon projeleriyle büyük ilgi gören kırdar, 2005 ocak ayında, "haziran gecesi" dizisinin müziklerinin de yer aldığı “yağmur” albümünü yayımladı. sanatçı, mart 2005’ te vizyona girecek sinema filmi “anlat istanbul” un müziklerini kasım 2004’ de tamamladı. sanatçı halen "kurtlar vadisi", "haziran gecesi", "yabancı damat" isimli dizilerin müziklerini hazırlıyor. kırdar, 2 haziran 2005’ te “yabancı damat” dizisinin müziklerinin yer aldığı “üstüme basıp geçme” albümünü yayınladı. albüm, türkiye ve yunanistan başta olmak üzere diğer avrupa ülkelerinde de yayınlanıyor. 2004’te lüksemburg’da düzenlenen ve birçok türk tasarımcının işlerinin sergilendiği "self project" te, “tüür” başlıklı müzik projesiyle katılımcı olarak yer aldı. aynı proje “tüür_yağmur duası” adıyla 18 temmuz 2005’ te mc-cd-dvd albüm ve videofilm olarak türkiye ve tüm avrupa ülkelerinde yayınlandı. “tüür” projesi m.ö. 15000’ e kadar dayanan asya türk müziği çalgılarının elektronik müzikle sentezlendiği ilk çalışma olarak görülüyor.
