cumhuriyet mitinglerinin ilkinin gerçekleştirildiği ankara’da basının umursamazlığı sebebiyle yaşanan sıkıntı ve bunun diğer mitinglerde de devam etmesi sonucu yapılacak eylemdir. basının halka gereken ilgiyi göstermediğini savunan kişilerce 19 mayıs günü hiçbir gazete, dergi vs. satın alınmayacak. boykotçular tirajların hiç olmadığı kadar düşmesini görmekle ise amacına ulaşmayı planlıyor.
