gunumuz progresif rock ve metal muziginin isvec’ten yukselen degeri. duygu ve teknigin, sosyal olgular, kuresel degerler ve insan psikolojisi ile mukemmel birlesimi. topluluk bugune kadar alti album ve bir ep yaratti ve son olarak da yunan metal hammer dergisinin ozel hazirladigi bir toplama album ile dunyanin bircok ulkesinde yayimlanan sample albumlerine bir yenisini daha ekledi.
solist/gitarist/besteci daniel gildenlow tarafindan 1984 yilinda,henuz 11 yasindayken reality adiyla kuruldu. aradan gecen basari dolu birkac yildan sonra toplulukta kadro ve muzikal bir degisim yasandi. tarzlari rock’tan metale kaydi ve isimlerini pain of salvation olarak degistirdiler. simdi ise muzikleri daha da degisime ugradi ve daha progresif ve benzersiz bir hal aldi. funk etkiler, muziklerindeki zitlik ve acik fikirlilik, onlarin en belirgin ozelligi oldu.
1996 yilinda fredrik hermansson klavyeci olarak gruba katildi ve 1997’nin ilk yarisinda hazir kadrosuyla ilk albumlerini kaydetti; “entropia”. album ilk olarak japonya’da avalon / marquee tarafindan yayimlandi. album cok ilgi gordu, cok iyi yorumlar aldi ve uzerinden bir yil bile gecmeden, dunyanin ilgisini progresif muzige ceviren “one hour by the concrete lake”i kaydetti. album tum dunyadan cok iyi elestiriler aldi ve “entropia” ile birlikte tekrar yayimlandi. 1999 yilinda threshold (ingiltere) ve eldritch (italya) ile birlikte bir avrupa turnesine cikti ve seyirciden buyuk bir ilgi gordu.
2000 yilinda grup, sadece progresif degil, tum dunya muzik piyasasi tarafindan saygi goren “the perfect element, part 1”i yayimladi ve ayni anda arena (ingiltere) ile bir avrupa turnesine cikti. ardindan gelen ’12:5’ ve ’be’ albumleri ile konumunu iyice belirledi, pekistirdi...

tire’de dogdu.ilk ney derslerini izmir’de sencer derya’dan aldi. akademik muzik egitimini itu turk muzigi devlet konservatuari’nda 1984 yilinda tamamladi. bu donem icinde basta neyzen fuat turkelman olmak uzere degerli pek cok hoca ile calisti.sazi ile bircok resital ve solo konserler veren 18. istanbul festivali’ne ud sanatcisi samim karaca ile katilarak calismalarini ilk kez uluslar arasi platformda degerlendirdi.
ney sazini ve klasik turk muzigini genc kusaklara gereken hassasiyetle tanitabilmek amaci ile 1980’li yillarindan bu yana universitelerde genclere yonelik konserler hazirladi.
1983 yilinda istanbul devlet klasik turk muzigi korosu’nda saz sanatcisi olarak goreve basladi.
1990 yilinda birol yayla ile birlikte olusturduklari, “yansimalar” adli toplulukla katildiklari pek cok konser ve dinletilerde kendilerine ait muziklerin yani sira geleneksel turk muzigi eserlerine de yer vermislerdir. bu toplulukla turkiye icinde ve turkiye disinda pek cok festival konserine katildilar.
